Subterranean
Hero background: our own drone or crawler, in a sewer
Company

Built for the sewer no one else could survey.

No GPS. No comms. No line of sight.

We were asked to inspect a sewer where existing systems couldn't operate, so we built one that could. That's still how we work: every system we've delivered exists because someone had a real asset to survey.

About us

Two decades of systems that have to work in the field.

Subterranean was founded by Anthony Hutton and Aidan Gallagher after more than twenty years building engineering and software systems for security camera and IoT manufacturers.

They kept meeting the same problem: systems that perform in controlled conditions fail where they're needed most. Sewers are where we start, because positioning, comms and visibility all fail there at once.
